Monday Basketball 

Mondays:

  • Kindergarten - 6th: 5:00-6:00 pm

  • 7th - 12th: 6:30-7:30 pm

Where: The HUB

Teacher: Pastor Vaughn and Maria Duggins

Cost: $80/month

Description:

Each basketball clinic will start with a huddle where we share a thought for the day and pray. We will then do a brief warm up and get to work! Clinics include drills to improve ball handling, athleticism, lateral movement, shooting, and most of all…confidence!

Vaughn is a graduate of Wright State University where he double majored in Business Management. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Division 1 basketball player. Immediately following his time at Wright State, he continued on to play seven years of professional basketball on a first division league overseas in Germany and France.

Thursday Taekwondo 

Teacher: Grandmaster Daniel Coblentz and team

Cost: $80/month (no family membership) 

  • 3-month minimum for enrollment in this class

  • Uniform: $25 (required for all students)

  • Testing is not required for belt advancement, but if students wish to test, there is a $25 fee per test to cover the cost of the certificate, belt and supplies.

Description:

The Taekwondo classes open with a prayer, close with a prayer and a Bible lesson is given during classes. Student must memorize Bible Verses along with the usual Taekwondo requirements in order to promote to a new level. Students are given a Nationally recognized certificate for each belt level they achieve. The association is actually registered at the World HQ in Seoul Korea. Students will have the opportunity to compete in tournaments both local and national. And the possibility is in place to go as far as the Olympics if desired and requirements met. The Christian Taekwondo Program has been developed by Sr Grandmaster Coblentz over the last 20 years and is used in Churches and Taekwondo Schools throughout southern Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Sr Grandmaster Coblentz is a World Certified 8th degree Black Belt and has been teaching for nearly 40 years. He is currently a student of Grandmaster Hae Man Park of Seoul Korea who is the president of the World Chungdokwan Federation. GM Coblentz has trained State and National Champions in Taekwondo, and is an Ordained Minister since 1998.
